I have been actively involved in Training and Consultancy for many years and applied practical experience is strong feature of my work.

From starting employment in Freight Forwarding I then moved into Consultancy; specialising in the analysis of costs and service factors for exporters/importers, and in the tendering/selection of freight service providers. This was then followed by five years working in Nigeria, managing Transport/Shipping, and Warehousing operations and assisting with design and strategy of the large multi national business.
On return to the UK, I moved into Third Party Distribution and held a commercial development board role (business development, marketing, costing, and analysis).

In 1990 I entered, formally, into the training business and was involved with the start up, of the training service to the then, Institute of Logistics & Distribution.

Since 1998 I have been a freelance trainer/consultant who trades under the name "Learn & Change?, this name chosen because I believe that in times of change, it is only those who learn- that will-successfully inherit the future!
I have trained in many industries, with many topics, too many nationalities and in many locations on five continents. I specialise in training managers with practical and pragmatic solutions of what will really work in the work place.

I hold an MSc from CTS Cranfield (full time study) and a BA (Hons) from the Open University (part time study), along with an FE Teachers Certificate and a Professional Diploma in Mentoring. On professional qualifications, I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the Institute of Leadership and Management and an Associate Member of the Institute of Management Consultancy. I am also a Chartered Fellow and Fellow and Member in Institutes covering logistics and the supply chain
