Leading London based communication & presentation experts
This facilitator is one of the Europe's top communication & presentation experts who can transform the way you present yourself and communicate your products and services to the media and to clients to win more business.
He is also an international conference and event facilitator, presenter & compere; a business, motivational and after dinner speaker as well as an executive coaching & training consultant who works around the world with an interesting diversity of clients.
He is a recognised master in the art of effective and compelling communication, helping businesses raise and maintain their brand integrity and profile, improve customer and staff relations and loyalty and enhancing personal and corporate reputations, all of which help improve profits.
He has been a presenter, reporter and producer on network and regional television and radio, as well as a writer and reporter for the national and international print media. He is a Royal Television Society award winner and his broadcasting and journalistic work has been nominated for three other awards. He started his career at the age of 14 by writing articles for his local paper during his school holidays. He later went on to become the UK?s youngest ever national television news reporter, aged 21, and a year later became one of the youngest ever network television newsreaders. This was despite his journalism college lecturer telling him he might not make it in the profession!
Undercover work
Those he has worked for as a journalist include the BBC, Sky News, ITN, Channel 5, the Sunday Telegraph, the Guardian, the Sunday Express, Scotland on Sunday, the Mail on Sunday, News of the World, the Sun and various current affairs and general interest magazines. He has also been the editor & managing editor of an online publication. He has covered a wide range of stories throughout his career, from major national and international events to travel and light-hearted and off-the-wall items. He has also had “exclusive” stories published in national newspapers and broadcast on television which include exposures of multi-million pound frauds which prompted investigations by the Office of Fair Trading. Some of this Sean carried out as an undercover investigative journalist.
Spies, near death & cannibalism
He, whose interests vary from sailing, motor-biking and polo to travel and playing the saxophone, has always loved adventure and tackling new challenges and believes in living life to the full. As a schoolboy, he taught himself how to throw the discus, winning junior international honours and several county championship titles. He even became a member of Mensa, the high IQ society. Later, he almost lost his life on a mountaineering expedition to Irian Jaya while under the armed escort of the Indonesian Special Forces because of the threat of kidnap and murder. He has travelled in cannibal inhabited jungles and climbed unconquered mountains among the glacial wastes of Greenland. On one trip through Eastern Europe, he was held at gunpoint in the former Yugoslavia during the conflict there, arrested twice in two days by corrupt armed, plain clothes policemen in Poland and pursued into Asia by an Iranian government agent.
He loves to absorb and share the many funny sides of life, including his own. Some of his more unorthodox professional moments as a reporter and presenter have appeared in various out-take & blooper shows on television in Britain and the USA. They’re just some of the many funny stories with which he entertains his audiences.
Partial list of Clients:
---------------------------
He has worked with many private and public sector organisations, including IBM, Shell, Unilever, Barclaycard, Astra Zeneca, Bank of Scotland, Safeway, National & Alamo Car Rental, the UK Department of Education and the Public Record Office. He has written a variety of books on communicating with the media, making business, wedding and after dinner speeches and presentations, as well as a crime thriller.

Even the most focussed people can have moments of doubt about where they’re going in life and how their business is shaping up. That’s why everyone needs inspiration and encouragement to motivate them to achieve excellence in their lives - not just professionally, but also personally, as both are interlinked.
He can reignite your self-belief with his positive messages with a powerful sense of passion, insight, empathy and quick-fire wit to inspire, empower and motivate you to obtain the success you dream of having and can really achieve.
He believes in challenging himself mentally and physically and has succeeded despite having had to endure setbacks as well as the negativity of those who said “you’ll never make it.” He is proof that, despite this, you can fail, overcome setbacks and succeed as well as enjoy and be enriched by the journey along the way.
He has many inspiring stories like: how he became a member of the high IQ society Mensa after being told at school that he was, at best, “just average” and flunking some of his exams; how he became a UK junior international athlete after his athletics teacher dismissed his dreams; how he became the UK’s youngest ever national TV news reporter, aged just 21, and won a top award after being told by his journalism lecturer that he was unlikely to succeed in the profession; how he only just cheated death while taking on the challenge of a mountaineering expedition which was beyond his level of experience and technical ability; how he worked against prejudice and a raw hatred for authority as a Mentor to young criminals to change their lives for the better.

- I really enjoyed your presentation. If I could speak to an audience at 10% of your level I would be delighted! I started my business in January and sent off a press release to my local paper in an attempt to get a kick start and, of course, a bit of free advertising. The response - nothing. I picked up on a few things you said last Thursday and revamped my release and sent it to them again. I have just gotten off the phone having had a long chat with the business editor and the photographer is coming on Monday! This is as a direct result of me paying attention to you last week. - John Bates, Travel Counsellors.
- He was a fantastic investment for our pioneering conference in South Africa, both personally and professionally, as he gave so much of himself for the benefit of the delegates and the event organisers in and out of the conference hall. He was a great presenter who helped us achieve our aims with a wonderful mix of understanding, encouragement and great wit.
