This facilitator was the Head of Knowledge Management in Nokia Networks Professional Services and Global Learning and Development Manager for Nokia Networks. He spent 6 years in Nokia Head Office Finland (1997 ? 2003) researching, designing, implementing and assessing many of the learning and knowledge management initiatives in place today. The global Knowledge Management strategy, action plans and infrastructure to support the strategy were developed by him and his team. During this time Nokia were identified as the Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE Award) in Europe.
Appointed Training Manager for Australia/New Zealand in January 1995 based in Sydney, he made an immediate impact in the Telecommunications Industry as a Steering Group Member for the Telecommunications Training Advisory Board. He played an instrumental role in defining and contributing to the first Telecommunications Competency Based Standards.
Returning to Australia in 2003 to be with his family, he has worked as a Facilitator for the ArkGroup Asia and Knowledge Management Consultant for the Bank of Indonesia. Recently appointed Learning and Development Manager in Human Resources for the largest Financial Building Society in Australia, he is now collaborating with the University of Newcastle introducing emotional intelligence initiatives for the Finance Sector.
