This is what he did a few weeks ago in the space of five days.

First, he led the training of other trainers in negotiation skills. Then he chaired a two-day public conference Managing Internal Communications, which he created; during the two days he gave one presentation to introduce the most up-to-date ideas in employee communications, and another on leadership communications. He also moderated panel discussions, and facilitated delegates? group work. One delegate mailed to thank him for ?a truly inspirational conference?.

He then spent a day helping executives from a food manufacturing firm hone their skills in media interviews; he concentrated on making the company?s propositions more focused on the consumer, more based in narrative and thus more credible.

The next day he was in Scandinavia, speaking about negotiation. His client called it ?a brilliant presentation?.

This facilitator works at the broad interface of communications and business strategy, where communication must make a difference: leadership, management, team building and customer service. He believes communication skills of the highest order are a prerequisite for today?s leaders and managers, and essential in successful organisations.

He facilitates small or large group meetings. With small groups, at all levels, his task is often to help them resolve difficult problems, or create a team out of a number of talented individuals. His material is always relevant, and original; his style is a unique energetic blend of the serious and humorous..

He is a specialist consultant on employee and stakeholder communications, as well as a published author on the subject.

He trains managers in key communications skills: presenting, negotiating, creativity and media interviews. He also coaches individuals on their personal communications style.

This facilitator began working in corporate communications twenty years after a successful career as a producer in broadcast TV news and documentaries. His early experience in producing corporate presentations and audio and video programmes armed him with insights into business communications which he has built on, to become one of the leading commentators and consultants in the field.

He has an MA from Oxford University. He is married with one daughter, a step-daughter and two step-sons, and lives in London. His favourite pursuits enable him to think and dream: reading, music (classical, World, jazz), film, theatre, country walking and travelling. He has a second home in France and speaks fluent French.
