• As an experienced consultant Roy has had the opportunity to work with and develop client accounts at various levels and in a variety of work environments including: Huntsman Petrochemicals, Littlewoods, Orange, Royal Sun Alliance, Unisys and Whitbread.

• Roy's most recent focus has been project managing the cultural change process for the Huntsman Petrochemicals business since they acquired it from ICI. This has supported the company in exceeding all previous production targets with the original deteriorating plant.

• Whilst being aware of individual needs Roy has always had a particular interest in group dynamics and closely observes how individuals and groups interact with each other. This has meant that he has developed a keen interest in, and a talent for, involving businesses in team working strategies as they seek to bring a common purpose and direction to their efforts.

Strengths I am a man of maturity, integrity, credibility and experience. I am considered to be open and honest in my dealings and to be consistent in my relationships. Without such qualities there can be no trust and without trust it is impossible to effectively lead or manage others.
Hobbies I am particularly interested in music, dance and drama. I served as Chairman, Secretary and Conductor of two Music Associations during my teaching career and have produced the local area "Gang Show" for the Scouts and Guides Associations on a number of occasions. Until recently I was bass soloist with a choral group, "Serendipity", whose sole purpose was to raise funds for various charities.

I have been a keen participant in giving my time to voluntary service for most of my life. As I have developed the skills I have to offer, I have found myself in roles where a major part of my responsibility has been to motivate others by organising and developing a leadership training programme for all the local leaders, who were also serving in a voluntary capacity, and by coaching and counselling those in leadership positions.
