I am an internationally experienced consultant specialising in making firms more profitable and productive through their people.
I am an experienced Human Resource practitioner with over twenty six years HR experience in a number of sectors.
Before establishing a company, I was Global Head of Human Resources for Baring Asset Management, and a member of the main board.
At Barings, I built a global HR capability focusing on competence-based performance management, reward systems, management development, organisation design and supporting HR computer systems.
I previously held personnel positions in New Japan Securities, Gulf Air, Booker plc and British Airways. A graduate of The City University, London, I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
I was a member of Fund Managers Association Standing Sub Committee on education and training from 1991-1998 and a member of IMRO (now FSA) Training and Competence Working Group in 1994.
More recently I was a speaker at the Securities Institute FSA Training and Competence Forum - May 2002. I was Leader of the Remuneration Special Interest Group for the Central London branch of the CIPD from 2002-4.
