Richard is a larger-than-life Project Manager that people call when they have major problems with their projects.

He is a very experienced Project and Programme Manager, Consultant, Leader, Motivator, Project Trouble Shooter, Seminar Leader, Facilitator, Author and Keynote Speaker. His experience ranges from the dizzy heights of putting a man on the moon as part of the Apollo Programme, to working as part of the management team that computerised the British Income Tax System. From rescuing and leading the delivery of two major systems for the 43 Police Forces in England and Wales to directing major Programmes of work for some of the largest companies in the world!

With over 35 years of management experience, he is able to teach speak and consult with authority. He teaches, speaks and consults on many different facets of Management, Leadership and Personal Development topics. His courses, speeches and presentations can be specifically tailored for your organisation and your conference.

His many specific accomplishments include:

? Rescuing, managing and delivering a seriously late (6 years) ?270M UK Home Office programme. This included establishing and managing an Integrated Project Team (IPT) for the Home Office. The IPT comprised Police IT Organisation staff, seconded police officers from various forces around the country, contractors and Suppliers staff. Working outside of the contract, he developed an Agreed Programme of Work for the completion and delivery of the two major systems to the Police Forces. This role was instrumental in normalising the relationships, motivating the team and helping to ensure that the systems were delivered to the Agreed Programme of Work schedule.

? Establishing, managing and handing over to a Vodafone permanent Senior Executive the Vodafone 3rd Generation (3G) Telephony Programme. The 3G Programme introduced the 3rd generation of mobile telephony capability.

? Establishing, managing and delivering other complex, major change programmes for organisations such as NatWest Bank, Prudential Home Services, Royal Life Insurance and Flemings Investment Bank.

? Directing, managing and being a member of the management team for a large number of major programmes and projects. These included the IT Infrastructure Programme for NatWest Bank Retail Transformation Programme, the Y2K Programme for NatWest Retail Information Systems, the OPTICS Programme for the Department of Trade and Industry, the Computerisation of PAYE for the Inland Revenue,

? Establishing and serving in the role of Systems Development Manager for the Prudential Home Services and serving as the System Development Manager for Royal Life Insurance

? Establishing and managing the implementation of a number of Project and Programme Support Offices, including the tools to be used in management and development for a number of customers including the Prudential, Royal Life, Flemings, Computer Sciences Company and the Inland Revenue,

? Working with senior management of various organisations, designing and implementing a large number of change programmes,

? Leading the development and implementation of a number of development methods and management handbooks for large organisations,

? As part of most of his consultancy roles, he has had the responsibility for knowledge transfer to existing permanent staff,

? Using his existing network, he has been able to establish, very quickly, development teams and support offices,

? Founding and directing a number of successful companies,

? Establishing and managing major organisations within existing companies,

? Establishing and managing a major training centre for Computer Sciences Corporation,

? Designing, preparing and delivering a large number of training workshops and seminars,

? Lecturing as part of the Management Programme at Henley Management College.

Besides all of this, he is an excellent speaker who belongs to the National Speakers Association in the United States and on a Global basis, the International Federation of Professional Speakers.
