Anis heads the research section of the Centre for Responsible Business at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Anis has several years of experience focused on Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility across a variety of industry sectors in Europe and the UK. He has also been a frequent speaker at industry conferences and universities.
Anis holds an European PhD of Excellence in Analysis and Governance of Sustainable Development from the Universities of Venice, Nottingham and Leeds (UK).
Prior to his current position, Anis has been a Research Follow at the International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility at Nottingham University Business School and a Visiting Research Fellow at the International Center the Sustainability Research Institute at the University of Leeds, where he work and participated in an European commission project: ‘Sustainable Value’.
Anis holds also a Master Degree in Sustainable Tourism from the University of Padua (Italy) and Paris Dauphine (France). He worked in collaboration with the French ministry of Tourism on a WTO project to develop Sustainable Tourism Indicators.
Also, Anis holds a BSc in Business from the University of Paris and an European certificate in Resource and Environmental Economics from Venice International University.
He has published various papers in international journals and has presented extensively in international conferences.
He joined the Centre for Responsible Business in 2007, where he started original research in the country on Corporate Social Responsibility, Green Supply Chain and Responsible Consumption.
His research focuses on CSR across Culture and National Business Systems in Europe, the US and the Middle East. CSR with respect to the innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership within multinationals and family business.
