Johan dedicated his life to the struggle against narco-traffic in the countries of Latin-America. To fight against drug, is the aim that Johan wants to reach. The problem of drug is not simple and touches economic, political and social fields. It is impossible to put an end to the "cartels", if there is no true political will and a collaboration between countries.
Johan is a public safety oriented professional with an extensive operative and as researcher background on latin America and the Caribbean covering narcotics, terrorism and organized crime issues, and providing advising and training to both the private and public sector on crime approach.
Johan is an active member of international security and intelligence related organizations and have participated as a speaker to several international conferences.
Johan has been involved in the public security area in Latin America and the Caribbean for the last 20 years. He has covered from counter narcotic operations, strategic analysis, development and implementation of public safety programs, to counter terrorism analysis and intelligence and providing consulting and advising to several governments and diplomatic missions in the region on security and intelligence issues.
