Andrew A. - Coaching Psychologist & Trainer
Andrew is an Australian-born coaching psychologist & trainer, based in Greece – with experience in a variety of cultural settings.
He initially trained in psychology and received a Master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Hartford (US). He received a further Postgraduate degree in the applications of hypnosis from the University of Sheffield (UK). He used many coaching, results-oriented and strengths-based principles when working in health settings way before their popularity boomed. His private practice had a 3 to 4 month waiting list and he was frequently featured in the media.
His transition to coaching was also immediately met with success. His first project was a year-long programme aimed at helping and training employees of a multinational company. Its success led to the company being listed in the country’s ‘Top 20 Best Workplaces’ for the very first time. That was the beginning of his coaching & training career.
He developed and headed one of the nation’s first EAP providers (Employee Assistance Programmes), co-conducted management training for Athens 2004 Olympic staff and also developed the first EAP-related Disaster Management programme in the country.
He was one of the first to apply a goal-oriented, group coaching programme for working women through EQUAL, an EU co-funded initiative. His format has now been adopted by many other companies and coaches carrying out similar projects.
Andrew is considered an international expert in the use of indirect influences in communication and suggestive techniques in coaching. He introduced the term ‘coaching hypnosis’ (applying indirect influential skills and hypnotic strategies in coaching) and the first paper of its kind was published this year in the International Coaching Psychology Review.
He currently heads a group of coaches at an HR Training and Development company that offer coaching services to company personnel through governmental and EU sponsored programmes.
He heads his own consultancy which offers bespoke coaching & training programmes, executive coaching & development and consulting. He has worked, presented and conducted trainings in the UK, US, Australia, Italy, Austria, and Greece.

Specific guidelines on how to provide effective criticism and feedback that actually yield results. Specific strategies that can be applied immediately.
